Joystick mapping rbf?

Postby leech » Mon Mar 06, 2017 5:29 pm

Hey, am I missing something somewhere? Seems there is some sort of method to creating a mapping from within the MiST. https://github.com/mist-devel/mist-boar ... ickMapping has a section that states;

The first step is to find out if your controller is at all recognized by the MiST. Plug it in, turn on the MiST with an 8-bit core, then open the OSD (F12 or middle MiST button on the front panel) and go to the Joystick 1 test screen.

Is this any 8-bit core? I tried it on the NES core, and couldn't find the menu there. Is there a particular core that has this configuration option that I am missing?

Thanks!

'F12' 'right arrow', then navigate down to "Input Devices" option using 'down arrow', press 'Enter', and down to "Joystick 1 Test". Hope it helps...

The joystick test is part of the firmware. Should be accessible from most of the cores that use the standard menu (some cores have their own OSD).
